In 2009, we invested in a metal roof system from one of our preferred Customers. We engaged some of our Sales, Engineering and Production Staff, along with our President, to be directly in the roof installation.
Working "hands on" along with our Customers preferred installation Team; we executed the installation, utilizing our product, determining and documenting installer comments, preferences and desires in product performance and installation ease.
The observations, learning and feedback, gained through this project, provided reinforced the ease of use of our products, but more importantly, provided us additional insight into desired additional features and benefits. We have been applying this learning to further develop and enhance our products.
Specifically, we modified our Quik-Grip adhesive formula, to provide less aggressive initial bond, in case of the need to adjust the placement of the closure, during installation.
